I have a 1967 GTX Convertible 440 four speed(all original) with red exterior and black stripes on hood, black interior and top. I was at your show in 2012 and slipped a piece of paper in your pocket before the show and you called me the next day and I didn't realize it until a few days later. It has 87, 000 miles on it. I have owned it for 40 years and bought it from my uncle in South Dakota in 1976. It has never been in a MN winter always stored inside. 680 convertibles were built, it is a four speed and I think there were only like 160 made. If you are interested we can talk more. Thanks can text or send the original build sheet. I am ready to sell it and you can contact me at this e-mail [email protected] or house phone 651-459-4380 or cell 651-769-7105. Thanks again and hope to hear from you. I will send you pictures when I hear from you. Thanks Greg.8/3/2016 12:56:07 AM
If you would, capture a bit of motorcycle racing history before they are gone, I have some older friends here in Lake isabella, John Hagey and Larry Harnes they worked for and raced with Bud Ekins, serviced and repaired Steve McQueen's motorcycles and hung out with the likes of Von Dutch and the Holly Wood crowd. Good people, true craftsmen and still riding bikes, I think an interview with them would make a great tribute to the racers of the 60's. Contact Me Joe Dier @ [email protected] Net or C-760-832-2736 Thank you.8/23/2016 12:07:46 AM
Jay, I have a 1986 Pulse/Litestar Autocycle on ebay (291863986470)which I thought you might be interested in adding to your collection. This vehicle was invited to the New York International Auto Show in NYC and won PEOPLES CHOICE OVERALL WINNER. There was only 347 manufactured. It is a beautiful baby with all the extras and lights for a show. I'm having to downsize my car collection because of my health. If your interested call 440-969-1410.9/4/2016 1:18:42 AM
I have a 1947 Cadillac convertible. It is all in pieces. I had planned as a project to assemble and sell. Do you have any info on where I could post this to offer all the parts for sale. Any info would help.9/7/2016 7:21:14 PM
I would like to know if Jay's Garage has seen the Youtube presentations regarding gas engines running on vapor as apposed to the normal gas spray atomized carburetor or injection method. There are a number of presentation with home made type system using a vapor method into a standard carburetor and the engine getting significantly greater millage than with the current method if fuel injections. I would be interested to know if this is real or myth. Especially sense the Mythbuster program is now gone. Thanks and look forward to your response. Joe G.9/10/2016 2:21:06 AM

Hi Mr. Leno,
I am a life long Datsun Z car fanatic. I bought my first one in 1971, a sweet little 240Z red beauty. Her Vin was HLS30-11904. I drove her for 259, 000 miles, with almost no work on her, no engine work for sure. At that time I was 28 years old, and my Father taught me how to care for her. I loved my Redwing. As she aged, I was unable to do a restore on her for lack of funds, so now she is in the competent hands of a gentleman who will. Now I am a mature lady of 73, and due to an inheritance I was just able to buy my second Z. She is a 1976 280Z, I'm in heaven. I was fortunate enough to get her, that had lived in Scottsdale, a one owner car. So the rust on her is minimal and the interior is great. But now I see that whomever painted her did not go to the bare metal, but just covered her faults with fresh paint. Now after having her for two years, the rust is bubbling up under her paint. Yipes. Being on Social Security, there is no way I can attend to her paint problems. I really do not want my RedBird to get all eaten up with rust. So I am asking you if you would help me and see to it that she gets a good paint job? She is a well cared for car, drives good with no apparent problems. A miracle for me. I realize you are probably bombarded with requests like this, and I most likely will not hear from you. But for the love of my car, I'm praying my email will reach you, and perhaps you will kindly help me. I have been a fan of yours and have seen good the man in you. I know many times you have gone beyond the norm, and have assisted folks with their cars, among other things. All I am asking is that you please think about my request, and hopefully extend your hand out to me. Bless you for all the good works you have done in your life. If there were more men out there like you, our world would be a better place to live in. Thank you for your consideration,
169 Cobb Dr. Chatsworth, Ga. 30705.11/1/2016 10:52:01 PM
Hello I am trying to find a wonderful person to help me with a dying wish for my dad. He has 1907 Ford Model T that needs to be assembled. I do not know how long he is going to be with us. And I would like to find someone to help me get this done before he goes to be with my mom. I would be willing to give up my 1985Cadillac Fleetwood Broughm that just needs a radiator and two plastic parts near the front headlights and a headliner. I do not have any way to pay for the help, but I am willing to help in any way I can. I am afraid dad won't last much longer he has two cancers and has little energy left. He sold all of his antique stuff when mom died except the Model T and King Midget her restored for my mom. Family things kept him from getting to the truck. I will be in the biggest debt of appreciation if you know someone who could help me with this position. I love all your cars and enjoy your videos on the garage site. Thank you for your time. Sincerely Juanita Crail . My father's name is Earl Oellig and he lives in Terrell Texas. Thank you again for your time.11/4/2016 1:07:18 AM
